Summer FunFest will be Saturday July 11 from 10 am – 3 pm at Stones River Mall in Murfreesboro, TN. The event, sponsored by Rutherford Parent Magazine, will be jam-packed with fun activities and great information on things to do this summer. Stop by and see us at our booth where you can enter to win two round-trip tickets aboard the Holiday World Express which runs every Tuesday and Saturday during the summer. We participated in the Parent event in Columbia and they do a super job getting great exhibitors (even if we do say so ourselves) and activities and performers. They have something happening all day – so “come on down” and see us!

Hello, Jake here from the Anchor Blog. I had the pleasure of riding the Holiday World Express this past weekend and spent a full day at Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari! If you haven’t been to the park yet, I recommend booking your trip soon! I have been to a hand full of theme parks and water parks but Holiday World is by far the most friendly, clean and affordable. The highlight of the day was riding The Pilgrim’s Plunge… a must see! And I have to say, after a long day of riding rides and fighting the sun, it sure was nice to be able to sleep on the bus ride home! Buses go up to Holiday World every Tuesday and Saturday, our first month this summer has been very busy so be sure to book your group soon!

NAC Discover Tennessee Expo a Success!

Here we are at the Discover Tennessee Expo at Opry Mills this past weekend. In the photo from left to right are Jake Bartlett, an intern from Belmont University and the newest member of our marketing team (it didn’t take us long to put him to work!), Karen Morrissey, our Group Travel Manager, and Mark Szyperski, Director of Business Development. We really enjoyed meeting many native Nashvillians as well as all the visitors who spent time at the event learning about all that Tennessee has to offer. Kudos to Nashville Attractions Coalition and the State of TN for putting together such a great event! We will be drawing the winner of the pair of tickets for the Holiday World Express this week so our lucky winners will be hearing from us soon.

This Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, as part of national tourism week, members of the Nashville Attractions Coalition are sponsoring a travel expo with lots of free entertainment and information on all the fun and fascinating things you can do in and around Nashville.
