Proud to Bring the 278th Home for Holidays
Anchor Trailways & Tours was pleased to have made the holidays brighter for some of the men and women of the 278th Calvary Armored Regiment of the Tennessee Army National Guard out of Ashland City and their families. When we learned through coverage provided by Channel 4 WSMV, that the troops had been promised they could come home for the holidays, but then learned the financing was not available for transportation and they couldn’t come home, we were honored to step in and help by donating transportation from Camp Shelby to reunite the families for the holiday. In this photo, John Stancil (far right), owner and founder of Anchor Trailways & Tours, is presented with a plaque by 1st Sargent Powers (left) thanking John and the entire Anchor Trailways & Tours team for the service they provided.
